This is an in-town port: after Hong Kong immigration you are already in core Kowloon. Passenger hours about 06:30–23:30, subject to trains and ImmD. Get Octopus, then MTR or taxi.
After you exit
- Octopus machines and customer service in the station. Ignore touts offering private cars.
- Food and shops: walk into Elements. Far better than any land border. Supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy.
- SIM desks in the station are convenient and pricey. Short trip: eSIM. Physical SIM: Mong Kok or Sham Shui Po.
- Taxi rank follows Taxi signs. Red cabs for Island and Kowloon.

Questions
Is West Kowloon the same as Kowloon station?
No. West Kowloon is HSR. Kowloon station is Airport Express / Tung Chung Line, a walk via Elements. Austin on the Tuen Ma Line is next door. Follow signs; do not wander the concourse.
