An LCSD public beach, listed at 19 miles on Castle Peak Road, facing the bay toward Lung Kwu Chau. Local families swim and barbecue in summer. It is not the Symphony of Lights circuit.

Facilities

  • Changing rooms, showers, toilets.
  • Lockers — bring coins or follow the posted fee.
  • Barbecue pits. In peak season arrive early, or check LCSD’s current booking rules.
  • Car park fills on weekends. Transit is saner.

How to go

  1. Tuen Ma Line to Tuen Mun, Light Rail to Sam Shing, walk the waterfront.
  2. Or a bus along Castle Peak Road that stops by the beach. Use App 1933 for KMB.

Is it worth going in winter?

Lifeguards typically pause November–March. The water is cold; few people swim. The waterfront walk still works. For a swim, May–September, and check that day’s water quality.
