Temple Street night market is in Yau Ma Tei, next to Jordan. Clothes, odds, snacks, fortune tellers. It is not an antiques museum. Treat it as a street that lights up, and the visit lands.

How to go

MTR Jordan or Yau Ma Tei, then walk toward Temple Street, Shanghai Street, Ning Po Street. From TST, 15–20 minutes north on Nathan Road, or a few bus stops — buses charge the boarding stage, so do not board a long-haul at the TST terminus for two stops.

Buy and eat

  • Cash still helps. Not every stall takes Octopus.
  • Ask the fortune-teller’s price first.
  • Dai pai dong-style kitchens and cafes sit nearby. You are not limited to stall food.

What time?

Stalls fill after dusk; after about 7 p.m. it looks like a night market. Too early is just a street. Too late and some stallholders pack up. Rain and typhoon signals thin it out.
