Notes dated 2026-09
Morning
- A cafe set. Do not start the sights hungry.
- TST promenade to the Clock Tower and Star Ferry.
- Star Ferry lower deck to Central.
Afternoon
- Walk Central to Sheung Wan, or take the tram (pay $3.30 when you alight).
- If you still have legs, tram to Wan Chai or Causeway Bay for a look; if not, sit.
- Do not add the Peak tram queue. It will eat the afternoon.
Evening
Back across the harbour. Temple Street looks like a market after 7 p.m. Or go back to the hotel. The point of one day is orientation, not a completed list.
Questions
I am crossing from Lo Wu for the day. Enough time?
East Rail into Kowloon takes time. TST, Star Ferry, one meal. Not Cheung Chau. Immigration queues are unknown; last crossing follows that day’s border hours.
